Quote
"I am passionate about families homeschooling and discipling for Jesus. I’m blessed to use whatever God gives me to walk alongside students and their families, helping them to succeed."
About Me
I earned my BA and Teacher Credential at California State University, Stanislaus. My husband and I started a family while I worked in the education field part time doing testing, tutoring, and providentially, homeschooling for hire. This opened the door to seriously considering homeschooling our own children, which turned out to be one of the greatest blessings of my life. In 2019 our family moved to Lewis County, Washington and asked around about homeschool options for highschoolers. We heard wonderful things about the Lewis County Learning Center and Academy Northwest. After meeting ANW teachers Loren and Linda Krenelka and learning more, we knew that this was where we wanted to land, and we haven’t looked back. A year later, the Krenelkas retired and graciously mentored me as I worked through the ANW teacher training program and my first year as an ANW teacher.
I see working with homeschoolers and ANW families as a big part of the path that God started me on as a child when He gave me a love for learning and a desire to help others learn too. I can clearly see where God led me away from the life I had planned, and into the much better life He had prepared for me.
About My Learning Center
Group high school classes: I currently do group instruction for high school students, working in tandem with ANW teacher Karla Bean, and other experienced homeschooling teachers. These classes are for families who want to homeschool their students but would like some assistance. Or perhaps, like my family, they may want to have the best of both worlds; the freedom and flexibility of homeschooling balanced with the structure of a social setting. We focus mostly on college prep English and History. Bible, Geography, and Civics are a regular part of what we do as well. Each year a college prep science/lab class is offered à la carte with Karla Bean.
Things look somewhat different each year since we tailor to the needs that the students have on a year by year basis. We are a small group with room to grow.
Working individually with K-12 families: I also specialize in tutoring, consultation, and testing for K-12 private, public, and homeschooled students. I enjoy tutoring and assessing students of various ages and providing guidance and support for homeschooling families. Homeschooling is a noble endeavor and I want to help you succeed!
Testimonies
"My daughter has been working with Nadine Cloud for close to two years. Nadine has been wonderful with my daughter. She has made homeschooling easy for us. She has shown me good curriculum to use and where to purchase it from. My daughter is doing good in school due to Nadine's help. She had a hard time with reading and Nadine helped her till she got it. Now she is a good reader. She does little projects with my daughter that she is always excited to show me. If we get stuck on something Nadine always has ideas to help us get past our struggle. I am very thankful that we found Nadine to help us with our homeschool journey."

"Nadine has been such a blessing to work with! She’s helped us stay on track to meet all the year-end requirements. When my son needed extra help with essay writing, she came over on two different occasions to get him squared away. I appreciate her expertise, wisdom, and encouragement. High school is an amazing, yet complicated time. It’s a huge help to have someone in your corner to help get you to the finish line!"
