Individualized education is the second most valued reason parents send their children to Academy Northwest. Our school believes that student success and achievement depend on an individualized education based on biblical principles and a respectful learning environment. Inviting and encouraging parents and students to participate in educational planning lets teachers know the “whole” student. Our teachers take time to develop an educational program that will meet the student’s needs and academic goals. Our program's design allows flexibility to adjust the delivery of services needed to provide a quality education to each student.
Accreditation remains among the top three reasons parents choose Academy Northwest. Our mission is to provide the best option for an accredited Christian education. In fall 2022, our administration and staff completed a comprehensive five-year evaluation and review of our school through Cognia. They reflected on 30 standards fitting the following key characteristics: Culture of Learning, Leadership for Learning, Engagement of Learning, and Growth of Learning. Moving forward, our school will maintain its accreditation through the Association of Christian Schools International, an organization that is more aligned with our educational and Biblical worldview values.
Academy Northwest families value our highly experienced teachers. Our teachers deliver services rooted in a biblical worldview, provide individualized education, and develop and implement curriculum and best teaching practices. Thus, our school maintains a high level of academics that meets the expectations of accreditation organizations. Our learning centers are run by certificated teachers who hold various degrees and average 25 years of teaching experience, which for many includes home-educating their children. They are dedicated to providing a student-centered education founded on Christian principles.
