Puget Sound Academic Center's main learning center is in Burien, WA. They also have one in Sequim, WA and Clovis, California. They officially opened in 2012 and have been affiliated with ANW ever since.
What is unique about this learning center is that they work with students desiring Entrepreneurial training. Enrolled students will also be taught Emergency Preparedness and First Aid/CPR in addition to a work skill so that if life throws them a curveball, they have something to fall back on. PSAC also works with homeschool families assisting with graduation ceremonies at home or on location for individual students.
Teacher John Elliott received his master’s in education (curriculum design and teaching with an emphasis on Biblical Literacy) from Concordia Lutheran University in Portland, Oregon. He holds a Washington State Teaching Certificate; and an ACSI Principals certificate as well as a teaching certificate He has a background in Music (dual scholarship to Juilliard), having trained under Doc Seversen; played trumpet with the Philadelphia Philharmonic; has worked in the Aerospace Industry; U.S. Navy and is a ham radio operator. John and his youngest daughter teach students how to woodwork out of their shop.
