ANW Field Study events are open to all ANW and Non-ANW homeschooling families.

San Juan Field Studies Event:

Join us for an amazing two-day field study on May 16th - 17th in the San Juan Islands with excursions and activities on regional history of San Juan Pig War, marine biology and whales, and art studies. Science presentations and guided field studies will be based on a creation perspective.

Spaces for this incredible event are very LIMITED!

Event Itinerary:

• Mt. Constitution and the lookout tower
• Pioneer museum and 1-room school house
• San Juan Pig War: visit English Camp and American Camp
• Biology studies will include Lime Kiln and whale watching
• History and science related studies will include learning about lime kilns and how lime is produced
• Visit the Sculpture Garden to be inspired by sculpture made by found and natural materials
• Lime Kiln Lighthouse

Yellowstone Field Studies Event:

Now accepting deposits for an exciting family learning adventure happening August 26th - 31st, 2024 in Yellowstone National Park!

Join us for this unique ANW Field Study event with excursions and activities on geology, wildlife, regional history, and ecological controversies. Science presentations and guided field studies will be founded on a Creationism perspective and viewpoint. Our instructors will inspire a deeper appreciation for this magnificent region of creation, and this event will be open to home educating families whether or not they are enrolled with ANW!

Step 1 of registering for this event is to pay a $265 non-refundable deposit for your family/friend group of up to 6 people. This non-refundable deposit will go toward the full cost of the event. Please note that there are a VERY LIMITED number of reserved camping spaces for this event. The spaces will be assigned on a first-pay, first-served basis, and deposits will be due by March 29th 2024.

Event Itinerary:

• Aug 25/26: Travel to West Yellowstone; optional excursions and places of interest will be included with curriculum packet to see either coming to and/or returning from West Yellowstone
• Aug 26: 6 pm Evening Welcoming and Orientation program
• Aug 27 - 30 Traveling around the Park:
Hebgen Lake, Mammoth Hot Springs, Grand Canyon, Norris Geyser Basin, Midway Geyser, Hayden Valley, Mud Volcano, Sulphur Springs, Pumice Point, Old Faithful, Petrified Tree, Lamar Valley
• Aug 31/Sept 1: Return home; optional excursions
