Academy Northwest Field Studies are homeschool field trip opportunities open to all home educators in the Pacific Northwest!

Academy Northwest (ANW) hosts two amazing Field Study trips each year, one in May and the other in September.  These trips offer a unique family-oriented educational experience and are open to all students of all ages, whether or not they are enrolled with ANW.

The program fee covers curriculum, some (or all) facilities use fees, and expenses for instructors and guest specialists.  Registered families will receive pre-trip information and curriculum, as well as links to specific websites for pre-trip study sources.  Families will be able to make their own lodging choices (from glamping to camping), and we'll also have accommodation recommendations that offer ANW group discounts.  Attendees will bring foods for breakfasts, sack lunches, and snacks.  Dinners will be a fun planned group events including a potluck on the first night, and usually a BBQ or pizza party the following night.

High school course outlines will be provided for various subjects depending on the trip, and offer the potential for earned credit!  Academy Northwest students can also check with their Teacher Consultants for how field study activities can be applied to their current courses.

Students 12/+ years old whose parents are unable to attend, may come with another registered family who are providing transportation and supervision for the whole time.
